Cool Rider 仮面ライダークール
Today I started learning to ride my new motorcycle. Not the easiest, for a number of reasons. There are no parking lots in Sayulita. All we have are narrow, bumpy, gravel-lined dirt roads. Not the easiest to go back and forth on and learn to turn a totally heavy motorcycle. My new stallion is quite large (for me - pussy!), heavy and semi-unwieldy. Lastly, I seem to have to do something with each appendage- i.e. clutch with left hand, front brake with right hand, brake with right foot, shift with left foot - where does my fucking drink go? Wacky.
Truly, I can't wait to get better on this new machine. Though Its kinda / really scary, I'm still stoked to take her out again - just like when I started surfing, same fear, and surely the same satisfaction. The best part is that I have this image of how cool I'll look when I eventually get awesome on the bike, and it reminds me of one of my favorite scenes in one of my favorite pop-corn musicals - Grease 2. If only there was this much singing around me when I drove around town, and the Japanese subtitles wouldn't hurt either.
誰が男のmotherfuckerよ!
