There are monsters, big and small

If you dont believe in Monsters anymore, check this out. This is the Mexican Conqule' (pronounced Konk-ley), or Tailess Whipping Scorpion. These are common creatures in our neck of the woods, and that in itself is crazy-nuts. Not only do we have to deal with Scorpions on a daily basis, but also these huge hissing Spider-things. This is a small one, and it is plenty big. Amazing when you are reminded daily of being in a different part of the world in so many small, yet significant ways. Like really big spiders...and that they could be in your bedroom, at any time. Nice.

Good thing this place rules, or we would be out. We are getting used to living with monsters.
